RightWay Online Updating Instructions

RightWay 550, RightWay 210, Spotter GPS Navigator, Dale Jr. Edition, or
Spotter GPS Navigator, Tony Stewart Edition

 

Windows XP Users, see note at bottom before contacting Technical Support.

Step 1: Download CoPilot Central 2.0

 

Step 2: Install CoPilot Central 2.0 to your computer

Step 3: Turn on your RightWay 50' series device
(RightWay 550, RightWay 210, Spotter GPS Navigator, Dale Jr. Edition or Spotter GPS Navigator, Tony Stewart Edition)

**CAUTION: Do not launch Navigation. Screen must display Navigation and Settings options before continuing with next step.

 

Step 4: Connect the RightWay 50 series device to your computer with mini-USB cable provided

**NOTE: Device will automatically choose the best connection method for your computer.

Step 5: Launch CoPilot Central on your computer

Step 6: Create a Copilot Central account by clicking on the Create Account button on the right side of the screen. If you do not see the Create Account button, ensure that CoPilot Central has detected your RightWay 50' series device. A properly detected GPS looks something like this:

 

Step 7: Your device is now connected and will be able to download updates

**NOTE: If you are using Windows XP and your GPS device is not being recognized as a mass storage, please download the following hot fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955704
